There are 2 websites you might enjoy. 
www.legend-city.com has Legend City photos & memorabilia. Make sure you put in the dash between Legend & City.
The other website is www.acmeron.com. There are hundreds of photos of early Phoenix on this one, including Bob's Big Boy on Central.

Thanks, Terry.   So many times I wished I would have thought to take pictures around town, but when you are young you don't realize how things will change!    Recently took a drive to downtown Phoenix - not much recognizeable after having left in the late 70's!

 Wow...what a walk down memory lane....I loved both the sites and enjoyed getting some history of Phoenix before it got so big! Thanks for the posts! Linda
